Booked the place thought it was convenient i had a flight next day early checked in at 10 pm everything was fine until 12 when i needed to take a shower the room was old it’s clean which was okay and as i turned on the water it was extremely hot like burning hot no cold water not even acceptable hot it was steaming burning hot, i had my kids with me thankfully they didn’t endure any injuries but when i called the desk she said yess its been an ongoing issue today and i was like i checked in at 10 why didn’t anyone bother to let me know what if my kids burnt himself! They were like yeah there is nothing we can do about it and i told her yes you could let me know so i could book somewhere else the prices are not that different in the area-this hotel would have went bankrupt if anything would have happened to my kids God forbid!!! Easily one of the worst hotel stays ever

I checked in to Kitchener Inn and Suites for 2 nights but only stayed one. I arrived at about 1am and went to my room to find it in terrible shape. There were cracks in the paint on the ceiling and it honestly looked like there was mould growth underneath. I then went and got dinner from the McDonald's across the street. I must have dropped a french fry on the ground because when I woke up the next morning I found it and it was absolutely covered in ants! I also found a blond hair in my bed sheets (I am bald and had black hair when I did have hair). Given this experience, I decided to check out and go to a hotel close to Pearson as I was flying out the next day. On the way out, I confirmed with the front desk attendant that I was checking out and was not to be charged for a second night. I just followed up today with Expedia to find out that they will not refund my second night even though I confirmed with the front desk prior to leaving that they would. Long story short...... DO NOT stay here.

I had booked a room a week ago as we were out of town for our nieces wedding so we can enjoy ourselves and not have to drive home. I asked the hotel if it was possible to check in early before the wedding at 3pm and they said no as there is no early checkin. That was policy so we decided to drive to the venue with our stuff and we intended to Uber to the hotel. At 530pm 2 hours after checkin I received a call during dinner informing me that they had over booked and did not have a room for me. They said they had overbooked 15 rooms which made no sense as they should have noticed and I believe as we did not check in at 3pm that they booked my room hoping I was a no show. Now they said that they would send me to 4 points which they said was a better hotel? They said that was all they can do. I asked if they have breakfast included as this was one of the reasons I had booked this hotel they said no but it is $18 a person which not only did they mess up my reservation but would cost me an additional $80 for breakfast? So I did not drink at the wedding as I had to go to Kitchener in then give them a deposit and get the voucher for the room which I did. I then had to drive additionally to 4 points Sheraton. When I did get there I had to wait in line as it was full of drunk people. The gentleman at reception was polite and franctly doing his job gave us our room keys and we thought we can finally go to bed as it was after 130am at this point. We opened our room after finally saying we can get some sleep and when we opened the door it was pulled apart headboard down sheets in the shower .bed and frame leaned against the wall and I said is this a joke as it had a strong chemical smell. They put us in a room that was being treated for bed bugs. We took photos and video went back to reception and decided to just drive the 1.5 hours home as if there is one room there are likely and infestation and I am not bringing them home. Although we tried to do the right thing these hotels should not hold us hostage as they took our money and should provide what we paid for or try to compensate for inconvenience. If they are full they were really overbooked they should have taken my money a week before or at minimum told me a day before so I can decide what arrangements to make and not have me drag my 10 year old granddaughter around all night. Plus check out is at 11am so the longer they took the less sleep we were allowed which we paid for. Completely unacceptable.

I would love to leave zero stars. I made a reservation for Saturday night. Paid in advance. Then around 8pm on our way to the hotel, they called us and said they don't have a room for us. Why make a reservation, weeks in advance, and then cancel as we were on our way. The caller from the hotel was rude and unhelpful as a way to rectify it and didn't even offer an apology!
